Frog's party was actually held on his birthday this year. Since his birthday is New Years Eve, this seldom happens, so he was extra excited. We typically give the kids two options. They can invite a lot of kids to do something cheaper ($100-$200 total range) or invite only a few friends and do something more expensive. Frog opted to invite a lot of friends for a pool party and then have only a few friends stay the night which worked out great.
Frog's theme this year was Plants Vs Zombies- a video game where you plant plants to protect your house from zombies. The only thing that matched the theme was his cake but that's ok, he had fun.
We all met at the local club and had our swim party for 2 hours. The kids had a blast on the water slide and diving boards. Ladybug had a blast in the hot tub and in her floating tube. After presents and cake were done, most of the kids went home. We let Monkey invite one friend over (basically to keep him out of the older boys hair) and Frog had 3 friends over so we had a FULL house of Testosterone. Chasing around so many kids, I didn't get a lot of pictures. In fact this is the only one I got of Frog and it is blurry. It actually catches his personality perfectly. He NEVER holds still!
We did home made pizza's, the boys sledded and played in the snow till late then they played video games and watched movies well into the night. The next morning after a breakfast of pancakes and Bacon we sent the heathens home, while I sent my own two heathens to bed for a nap. All in all a successful birthday.
