Beautiful Butterfly

Weight- 10 lbs
Height- 20.5

Sleeping Patterns- For a little one Butterfly sleeps really well.  She goes to "bed" about the same time as Ladybug around 7:30 and we are reliably on an every 2-3 hour shift for meals.  I don't mind as it is steady at least.

Food- Butterfly's sole food for the next few months will be nursing from me.  We have had a few issues as she has such a tiny mouth and she is technically a late term premie.  I have to work to keep her awake long enough to eat and she eats frequently for short amounts of time.  We are also using a nipple shield to help her latch and help me heal.

Milestones- Butterfly is just getting to being more aware of the world around her. 

27 June 2014- Lost her belly button stump.

2 July 2014- Due Date.  By this point she was already 18 days old. 

4 July 2014- She has had her first family get together for Fourth of July and was able to meet an Uncle, a Great Aunt and Great Uncle, and she got to hang out with two sets of grandparents. 

Etcetera- This month has been a whirl wind month and it seems like it has just flown by.  Butterfly got to meet a lot of friends at church during the closing mass and picnic from Vacation
Bible School and has meet friends and coworkers at both mommy and daddy's offices  She is currently just an added thing to carry and easily transportable.
