Seattle Trip 2nd Day

While we were in Seattle, we made plans to visit all the family in the immediate area.  Immediate area meaning anyone West of the Mississippi.  As a result, on Saturday we met up with my Grandparents, my Great Aunt and Uncle, my Aunt, Uncle, another Aunt, Cousin, and an Aunt once removed.  This is 9 new people for a Ladybug that doesn't do strangers well.  I was anticipating meltdown central.

The day started with my letting Ladybug sleep as late as she could while waiting for my dad to call saying his plane had landed from Korea.  A quick dash to the airport to pick him up and we were off to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Hi Ho Hi Ho.  The drive was a bit longer as we got lost took the scenic route, but we found the place.

Ladybug took a little while to warm up to everyone, but it wasn't long before she was demanding that her adoring followers give her what ever she desires.

Family was everywhere and she made time to visit them all.

Ladybug has a Great Aunt (bad pun I know!) who showed her how to pick blueberries.

Which promptly became her favorite activity.

A single day was no where near long enough, but I am thankful we got to spend the time we did with them.
