Today is day 1 of us having our new house. J was able to get 1/2 days at work for the first part of the week and then Thursday and Friday off for the house. We are hoping to have most of the house painted before moving in and we want to be in by the end of the week. The current agreement is J and his dad plus two of our friends are going to paint, and Ladybug and I are going to be getting the apartment ready to return. Trouble 1 & 2 are off at sleep away camp this week.
J got into the house this morning on his way to work and here is the info he gave me.
1. They left the deep freeze in the garage. (Yay! We arranged to keep the other fridge and the washer and drier, but this was not discussed.)
2. Apparently they either forgot or just decided to leave some eggs, condiments, and meat. Hmmm...
3. They left a few cleaning supplies.
Knowing what we do about the family, ie they are military and were PCS'ing, i figure they just couldn't take the stuff with them, so they left it behind for us. I am glad we were moving in right away though and not killing the power to let things rot.
